What we monitor

• Certificate expiration date — alerts with advance notice (30, 14, 7 days)
• Certificate validity — detection of invalid or self-signed certificates
• Domain match — certificate must match the monitored domain
• Remaining validity period in real time

How it works

StrixMonitor regularly connects to your server and verifies the SSL certificate. Results are available in the check overview including remaining validity. When expiration is approaching, you receive an email alert.

Why it matters

• An expired certificate shows visitors a dangerous site warning — they leave immediately
• E-commerce sites lose customer trust and revenue
• Renewal takes minutes — but you might not notice the outage until it's too late
