DNS check

A single DNS record change can take down your website or email. StrixMonitor instantly detects unexpected changes.

What we monitor
  • A / AAAA records — IP address of the domain
  • MX records — email delivery routing
  • CNAME records — domain aliases and redirects
  • TXT records — SPF, DKIM, ownership verification
  • NS records — authoritative nameservers
How it works

StrixMonitor saves the current DNS record values as a reference baseline. On each check, it compares current values against the baseline and sends an immediate alert if any change is detected.

Common scenarios
  • Attacker redirects your domain to a fraudulent server (DNS hijacking)
  • Accidental DNS change during hosting migration
  • Domain expiration followed by DNS record takeover
  • Misconfiguration after deploying a new environment
