DNS check
A single DNS record change can take down your website or email. StrixMonitor instantly detects unexpected changes.
What we monitor
- A / AAAA records — IP address of the domain
- MX records — email delivery routing
- CNAME records — domain aliases and redirects
- TXT records — SPF, DKIM, ownership verification
- NS records — authoritative nameservers
How it works
StrixMonitor saves the current DNS record values as a reference baseline. On each check, it compares current values against the baseline and sends an immediate alert if any change is detected.
Common scenarios
- Attacker redirects your domain to a fraudulent server (DNS hijacking)
- Accidental DNS change during hosting migration
- Domain expiration followed by DNS record takeover
- Misconfiguration after deploying a new environment
